We have shared so many good books and chats over the years. Here is one I would like to recommend:

The Woman they could not Silence by Kate Moore, non fiction about a woman in the 1860's whose husband committed her to an insane asylum because she was an intelligent woman that would not confirm to his calvanist beliefs.

Kate Quin IS a badass female herself! I love this author. I read Diamond Eye when we were living in Tampa. I read The Alice Network when we were living in Dallas. I read The Rose Code when we were living in Rome. I'm adding The Briar Club to my library queue immediately.

Thank you Linda for sharing this author and a few of her books on historical fiction and the women stories that bring these eras to life.

I so appreciate you reading my Substack…Kate Quinn doesn’t disappoint. You are so my book friend. I always think of you when I read a good book. I love our book clubs over the telephone.
